Professor Gingrich struts his stuff in a tutorial setting. I'm pleased that he recognizes Chris Christie as the most important governor in the United States for what he's attempting in New Jersey. What's so attractive about Gingrich is that he integrates the nitty gritty of politics with the ideas of politics and does so with the utmost fluency; a beautiful mind.

I have no use for the guy ever since he backed Scozzafava (sp.?). In my opinion, he's a typical Rino and typical politician.

He was wrong to support Scozzafava, but let's be clear why. He didn't support a RINO because he's a RINO himself, but because he wanted to uphold the discipline of supporting the party candidate. Are any of his policies or votes RINO? I don't think so, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I say, the heck with supporting a "party candidate", especially when the voters are mad as hell. The fact that he was for her, before he was against her, made him look bad. If he really thought she was a good candidate, he shouldn't have switched his endorsement to Hoffman. It was politics as usual. If he ends up running against Obama, we're doomed.

I agree that you should only endorse a candidate whose policies and suitability you endorse. Gingrich was wrong. I'm trying to find out if there's anything else in the charge that he's a RINO. In the end politics is the art of the possible, but most politicians have a short-sighted view of what is possible and compromise too easily. Is that Gingrich? Not in these clips.
Any comment on Palin/Fiorina?

I read somewhere that the Tea partiers were not happy that she backed her. They wanted the other candidate, I believe Devore. Palin is a feminist, but she is a good feminist. I think if she has to choose between two candidates - and she likes both - (but I'm not sure if she did in this case), and one is a man and the other is a woman, she'll pick the woman. I believe she will take every opportunity she can to get a woman elected. Then we have the bad feminists like Boxer. I wonder how much influence Palin's going to have? She's doing a great job in keeping everyone on their toes. If the media distorts the facts, she's on Facebook the next day, or Fox, setting things straight. Love it!
