The Case For Keeping Homosexuals Out of the Military

A pretty solid case for keeping the status quo.

Pretty long-winded article. It just says "sexual attraction is bad for morale in a fighting unit" which is about as obvious as obvious can be. That the Chief of Staff thinks that's trumped by his respect for homosexuals whom he's met in his career tells me that his job is a political appointment for organizational heroes.

Mick Stockinger:

I've had to drastically revise my estimate of what obvious and what's not. Most people have no idea how the military is structured and what social engineering goes into creating fighting units. I think a lot the problems we are currently experiencing in this country are the result of people neglecting to state the 'obvious'.
