The brouhaha about Secret Service incompetence appears to be a diversion designed to distract the media from yet another Obama association with radicalism.

I thought it passing strange that an upscale couple would don tuxedo and evening gown to possibly disappear into a secret prison under Patriot Act provisions. Who in there right mind would test Presidential security without virtual certain knowledge that they would escape unscathed?

Now a Canada Free Press article suggests a more reasonable explanation for the party crasher meme--a clumsy lie told by a panicked press liaison to obscure Obama's ties to radical Palestinian groups.

We do know for a fact that among the slew of memberships on charitable boards, Tareq Salahi is a former member of The American Task Force on Palestine (ATFP). The only way to know for a fact is because even though ATFP scrubbed all references to Salahi as a board member, he can still be found on Google cache.

The ATFP is self-described as a "moderate" rights group pushing for what is euphemistically called the "right of return", which is generally understood to be code for accomplishing the destruction of Israel by making Jews a minority in their own country. Numerous links with more radical Palestinian individuals and groups are also well-documented.

Regardless of what you might think of the Palestinian cause, the controversial nature of the issue is no secret. As a U.S Senator, Barack Obama was happy to court anti-Israeli radicals, but as a candidate and now President, his sympathies for the Palestinians were too much of a liability to allow public knowledge of his radical associations.

During last year's Presidential election, the L.A. Times, refused to release a tape containing praise from then Illinois State Senator Barack Obama for radical Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi. Obama reminisced about frequent dinners with the Khalidis, during which Rashid Khalidi "challenged his thinking.".

As photographers clicked away, journalists would have been treated to the arrival announcement of an obscure couple with an Arab name, eliciting uncomfortable questions about who they were and what their relationship to the President was.

Er-r-r-r, they'r-r-r-r-e....party crashers! Yeah, that's the ticket, party crashers. Someone in the Secret Service must have screwed up!
