I happened to be in the car this morning an caught some of Laura Ingraham interview with some George Soros flack "remessaging" health care.
If I hadn't heard it myself, I wouldn't have believed it. The man's name escapes me, but his approach to selling health care involved labelling anyone who dares ask a question about it, a right-wing ideologue, or someone misled by a right-wing ideologue. Yes, he said you're stupid if you don't agree with him.
In the final analysis, one will have to conclude that what killed the healthcare bill was the overweaning arrogance of the left.
They wanted to ram this thing down our throats in a matter of weeks, but now that the political tide has turned against them, the are demanding "a discussion"--but one in which any point of view but their own is disqualified.
I suggest a death panel consultation...
