I don't like to go to games in the stadium, preferring instead to watch them on television, but I have gone to the Stadium of Fire a couple of times, and the flyover was my favorite part--more than the fireworks.
I lived in St. Dizier, France for a few months in 1979 when they were flying Jaguars out of the base there. I always got a kick out of seeing them blast straight up into the sky. I crashed my bike once I was so distracted.
