I was surprised to log into MovableType (the software this blog is written with) and not see any comments. A little closer look made it clear that there were comments, but that they remained unpublished or junked.
At first I thought there was a problem, so I tested the comment system, which allows your comments to be instantly posted (or nearly so) if you can prove that you are human by answer the question at the bottom of the comment text box.
It works fine folks, so I have to assume the question is too hard. What do cows drink?
Water.
Nevermind, I'll change the challenge question...

I bet there's not another person in the world who'd give 'water' rather than milk as the answer to the question 'what do cows drink?' you scoundrel.

OK. I failed your simple IQ test. I forgot only calves drink milk. I used to work on a dairy farm too and have watered my share of cows so my failure is just that much more stupid.
Oh well.
I commented a while ago that your recent server changes have made it so Google Reader picks you up again. I didn't realize that I actually missed this site!
Thanks for the new and improved easier verification instructions.

I thought it might weed out the stupid comments. I had no idea it would weed out all of them...It is after all an old joke--too old perhaps.
